I like animals, and it makes me mad that they are endangered or extinct because of humans ( I don't really feel sorry for the dinosaurs though, because humans came millions of years after they died). For instance, the manatee is a HUGE marine mammal, about 12 feet in length. And it is endangered. People have hunted it for the delicious meat it has, and boat propellers have hurt it. And the Hawaii Amakhi, a kind of bird that lives in Hawaii, is being threatened by habitat loss; it depends on forests. Approximately 1,500 animals are on the brink (endangered).
But I love domestic animals too, and I am really sad that Mo, the dear fat black cat of mine, is gone. No one knows how he vanished. Every night, I have at least 1 dream about him, and every time, I dream he came back. Poor Lila. She worries. Poor Mo. How will he survive?
I am wild about birds. I love to go birding. I love to find out about them on books and computers. And I LOVE listening to "Bird Songs", a gift mom gave me a couple months ago. It is a book with 250 birds in it, each with a sound recording to go with it, so I know 1 song from each bird.
The last thing: I like people. Of course I should! I am one myself and I should like other folks like me. I have to forgive the people who harmed animals; nobody is perfect.
And just like the title of my blog: I am crazy...about animals.

It is said that he who love animals is loved as well, or blessed. You sure have a big heart in your little chest, ... and many rare knowledge under your belt. I am extremely impressed.
