A simile is something like His fever was hotter than the sun, which is, of course, impossible, but gives you an idea that the boy's fever was very hot. So here's a valentine poem that includes silly similes, which might make you, my dear reader, feel bad, but don't worry, it's meant to be funny.
Dear Valentine,
Your muscles are as hardy as a flag pole
Your smell is as wonderful as toast
Your eyes are as handsome as your freckles
So that's what I like most.
Your hair shines like worms under the sun
Your skin is as dark as tar
And even though you are very rich
I still hate your car.

The poor valentine in the poem sure will not feel good, but to the rest of us, we just laugh our tears out.
So, here we go,
Dear Hannah,
Your logic is as hardy as a flag pole
Your style is as wonderful as a toast
Your words are as handsome as your freckles
So that is what I like the most
And even though you are still a little girl
I still really love the hearty laugh
